Lady Chargers get win over Central Georgia  Tech

The Lady Chargers traveled to Macon, GA and come away with the 75-67 conference win over the Lady Titans of Central Georgia Tech. The Lady Chargers defensive effort held the Lady Titans to 5 of 15 from the field in the first period to give the Lady Chargers the lead after the first period 21-16 and a 42-33 lead at the half. GHC led by as many as 16 points late in the final period and secured the conference win.

The Lady Chargers were led by Jahnarria Brown, going 7-10 from the field, and 5-8 from the free throw line to put up 19 points. Nijeria Jordan was a perfect 6-6 from the field and 5-9 from the free throw line to score 18. Jessica Eadsforth-Yates scored 12 points, and Ciara Thompson added 11. Sharai Lay had 9 points and 11 rebounds. The Lady Chargers 14-9,11-1 in conference play return to Corral on Wednesday for a home game versus Andrew College, tip off 5:30pm. This game will be free t-shirt night to the first 50 GHC Students with a student ID that come to the game.
