Cameron Baldwin Named to NJCAA Region XVII All Tournament Team

Former Allatoona High School standout Cameron Baldwin capped off an impressive postseason run by being named to the NJCAA Region XVII All-Tournament Team over the weekend. The 6’8” forward led Georgia Highlands College with dominant performances in both the quarterfinals against South Georgia Tech and the semifinals against South Georgia State, the eventual tournament champions.

Baldwin showcased his all-around game in the quarterfinal victory over South Georgia Tech, tallying 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks to help propel the Chargers forward. In the semifinals, he elevated his performance even further, notching a double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds, while also contributing 2 assists and 4 blocks in a hard-fought battle against South Georgia State.

His impact extended throughout the season, as the Acworth native finished his sophomore campaign with 244 points, 220 rebounds, and 66 blocks
